I live in Denmark with my wife and two daughters, worked with backend development for two decades, been enthusiastic about computers since my parents put an IBM 386 PC in my room in the early 1990s, like reading science fiction, doing jigsaw puzzles and watch movies.

Besides here, my other online presence is on my two other blogs, shortsfreviews.com where I write about science fiction short stories, and my Danish blog filmblog.sysctl.dk were I occasionally write longer posts about movies.

My Letterboxd profile is pretty active as I review every film I watch - and I have a self-hosted archive of those reviews. I have tracked my music listening on last.fm for the last 20 years, and I can also be found on tildes.net under the username "winther".
