My life is pretty routine, and I am actually quite happy that way, so this page probably won't have dramatic changes. I do like the concept though as a replacement for what social media used to be about.

🕶 Life:

Generally love the cold dark months, though the bike ride to work is a bit cold at the moment

🎸 Listening:

Mostly just trying to keep up with new black metal and death metal releases¹

📽️ Watching:

2026 has so far been a little more focus on rewatches old favorites and I just got a 4K Blu-ray player, which has opened up a new thing to enjoy. On Tildes I am following along with a Babylon 5 rewatch. For 2026 I have made a Criterion Challenge²

📖 Reading:

I subscribe to several science fiction magazines and try to read at least some of the stories that sound good based on reviews.³ Haven't read a novel in years, but will occasionally pick up a non-fiction book. Right now, I am going through Source Code - My Beginnings by Bill Gates

🎮 Playing:

The Nintendo Switch gets a lot of playtime. I play Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Mario Golf Super Rush and Kirby and the Forgotten Land with the kids. Occasionally I try to get a little further in Outer Wilds myself.
